Wild Wednesdays: Pollinator Party

Wednesday, May 31, 2023 - 4:00pm

Otter Creek Preserve

Bees are easily the most recognizable pollinators but did you know that the Thousand Islands is home to many other pollinators?

Embark on an afterschool adventure along the nature trails at Otter Creek Preserve as we learn about the numerous insects and animals that are responsible for pollination in New York.

Discover how some species have adaptations for special plants and learn how others make liquid gold with the nectar they collect.

We will meet at 4:00pm at our Otter Creek Preserve main parking area: Map and Directions

Please register by emailing [email protected], by calling the TILT office at 315-686-5345, or by signing up below.

Wild Wednesdays afterschool programs are offered the last Wednesday of the month throughout the school year. These free programs are made possible by the support of the Ferguson Foundation, the Fresh Sound Foundation, and the RBC Foundation - USA. Each month features a fun, nature-based learning activity at a different TILT Preserve or partner location. Get outdoors and get WILD with TILT afterschool!
