Virtual eBird Training

Thursday, May 13, 2021 - 5:30pm to 6:30pm

Birders set their sights on the shrublands at Otter Creek Preserve that serve as ideal habitat for Golden-winged Warblers.

Join TILT and avid birder Dan Miller for Part 1 of our fun two-part birding Trek to hone your birding skills!

Dan will share his knowledge in a virtual training and demonstrate how to use the eBird app on your smartphone and computer. This application opens new doors and windows to the avian world for users and helps provide the Cornell Lab of Ornithology with valuable bird data. Experienced, novice, and brand-new birders of all ages are encouraged to join us! Then, join us for Part 2 at our Warbler Walk on Saturday, May 15th to put your newfound eBird skills to work!

Please register for this virtual training in advance by emailing [email protected], by calling the TILT office at 315-686-5345, or by signing up here.
