Embrace the start of winter along the St. Lawrence River with TILT’s last Trek of the year! Join us at the Foster-Blake Woods Preserve in Clayton to enjoy beautiful woodland views as we discover what Mother Nature has in store for the deep freeze to come. See how plants and animals survive the long cold months, learn how ice and frost form in and on the soil, and share tales of past winter extremes. Remember to BYOT (Bring Your Own Thermos) and wear warm clothing and boots suitable for winter walking; traction devices or snowshoes are recommended for snowy conditions.
