Butterfield, a secluded lake nestled in the woods of Redwood, provides minimal lights from homes and the opportunity to enjoy the serene night sounds of wildlife. Glow sticks for kayaks provided!

Kayak rentals will be available for a $15 fee in partnership with Riverbay Adventure Inn. Please register in advance by emailing [email protected], by calling the TILT office at 315-686-5345, or by signing up here. Be sure to let us know if you'd like to rent a kayak. Directions to the Butterfield Lake access point: From Route 37 in Redwood, turn east onto Stine Road. Take first right onto Butterfield Lake Road, and follow to the NYS boat launch on the right at the end.
