Buzz on Bugs KidsTrek

Tuesday, July 20, 2021 - 10:00am to 12:00pm

Zenda Farms Preserve

Kids, parents and grandparents are invited to look closer at the creepy, crawly, and cute bugs that call the 1000 Islands home at this KidsTrek at Zenda Farms Preserve. Learn the difference between a moth and a butterfly and why insects like the emerald ash borer and hemlock woolly adelgid are so concerning.

A variety of activity stations will be featured, including a bug hike along the MacFarlane Trail and exploring the activities of bees and other pollinators in the Zenda Community Garden. Snack will be provided. Kids Trek participants must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear clothing and footware appropriate for outdoor play.

Thank you for your interest in our TILTKids Trek! Registration has closed for this Trek but please join us at our TILTKids Camp "Healthy Land = Healthy River" in TI Park on Friday, August 6th!
