TILT's COVID-19 Response

  • COVID-19 Update from TILT

The TILT Office will close temporarily as of March 17th, 2020, and Treks and Events through the end of June will be postponed until further notice.

As an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Thousand Islands Land Trust is taking preventative measures to ensure the health and safety of our visitors, staff, program participants and volunteers. TILT will follow the lead of local schools and temporarily close our office on 722 James St. until further notice.

At this time, New York State and Jefferson County recommend the cancellation of non-essential public gatherings. Therefore, all TILTreks and Events through the end of June 2020 will be postponed. This includes the cancellation of the 2020 Zenda Community Picnic.

Visitors may continue to enjoy TILT's Preserves and Trails. To help keep our most vulnerable community members safe, please follow the CDC's guidelines including maintaining social distancing, covering your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze, and staying home if you feel unwell.

As always, thank you for supporting TILT and open space in the Thousand Islands region. We will continue to keep our website and social media with up-to-date information regarding scheduling changes moving forward. If you have any questions, please reach out via email at [email protected] or by calling 315-686-5345.

Sincerely,

Your friends at TILT
