Potters Beach Preserve is Temporarily Closed

July 16, 2020

Dear Friends and Supporters,

In light of the recent development of COVID-19 cases in Clayton and the surrounding communities, and out of an abundance of caution, the Thousand Islands Land Trust has made the difficult decision to temporarily close Potters Beach Preserve on Grindstone Island to the public until further notice.

We will be communicating directly with Jefferson County Public Health, along with state and local officials and authorities as we continue to monitor this situation. We will provide the general public with a closure update on Monday, July 20th.

Please note, while this is an unprecedented situation, the health and safety of our River community is of the highest importance to TILT. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Please continue to visit TILT's social media pages and website for updates. Contact TILT by emailing us or calling the TILT office at 315-686-5345.
