Adaptation Exploration

People put on warm boots and coats or snuggle up in cozy homes to escape winter’s chill.  But, how do wild animals withstand winter’s extremes?  Join us for a fun filled, interactive adaptation exploration to learn all about the ways that animals are the winter survival champions. This special holiday break program will be held from 1:00-3:00 pm!

Wild Wednesdays are free and open to the public. Participants must be accompanied by an adult.

We will meet at the at Indian River Lakes Conservancy’s Redwood Hill Preserve:

Wild Wednesdays afterschool programs are offered the last Wednesday of the month through May 2023.  These free programs are made possible by the support of the Ferguson Foundation, the Fresh Sound Foundation, and the RBC Foundation - USA.  Each month features a fun nature learning activity at a different TILT Preserve or partner location.  Get outdoors and get WILD with TILT afterschool!
